How our Concrete Leveling Technologies Work.
Concrete Foam Jacking
Ideal for sinking or settling concrete slabs, voids under slabs, or loss of soils under slabs due to erosion.
Concrete Foam Jacking works by injecting a high density, fast expanding polyurethane underneath a sinking slab. As the polyurethane expands, it densifies the loose soil underneath the slab and then lifts the slab against the compacted soil. The process quickly stabilizes the soil and levels the slab without excavation, demolition, or mess.
- Drill a small 3/8″ hole through the slab
- Inject the polyurethane into the hole and underneath the slab
- The polyurethane quickly reacts, expands, compacts the loose soil and lifts the slab.
Concrete Grinding
Ideal when slabs have been raised due to tree roots or heaving from expansive clays.
Concrete Grinding is a process where uneven concrete surfaces are ground down using special grinding equipment. The process can quickly create flush and level surfaces to create even transitions between slabs. While this process does not stabilize soils of voids, it is a very effective means of dealing with uneven slabs caused by tree roots or heave.
- Grinds the concrete using specialized equipment
- The transitions are ground to match
- Excellent for dealing with multiple uneven slabs that are a result of heave.
